At our annual water walk, we travel from the Douglass Student Center to the College Avenue Student Center carrying large amounts of water in order to feel a fraction of the burden that women and girls around the world face every day in order to have safe drinking water. We will also be handing out water bottles and sharing facts with the people we meet in New Brunswick to show them how serious water insecurity is.
We can’t wait to participate in this year’s Dance Marathon and support Joey, the child we are paired with through Embrace Kids. Not interested in dancing but looking to donate? Donate to someone on our team here, and we can disburse the funds to everyone!
Need a way to de-stress before the finals? Trying to get into the holiday spirit? Come out to Rutgers UNICEF's Winter Fundraiser in the Rutgers Zone on Friday, December 7th from 8-10pm! Entry is $5 per person and all proceeds will go to the national UNICEF fund to help kids in need.
The event includes:
-Access to arcade games, food, and drinks
-The change to win raffles for gift cards from local restaurants, a UNICEF t-shirt, and more!
-Holiday music and cheer
-Making no-sew blankets for foster children
-Hanging out with members of Rutgers UNICEF and guests!
Feel free to invite people who are not involved in our club for a fun night out at the RutgersZone! Click here to see our Facebook event.
